Was much worse - was sitting there being photographed when smoke started pouring out from the closed bonnet. Turned out I'd put new valve covers on the previous night and pinched a wire, developed a short during the shoot. Fortunately it has a battery disconnect switch or we might have lost it. Took me a couple of days to replace all the melted wiring, anyway took the opportunity to neeten up a few things and was a good lesson I guess.

It's a wonder you didn't pull it all apart for a rebuild!  ;-)
