August 26 Sunday Eastern Creek Classic CMC Day C068

FOR THE ATTENTION OF ALL WHO WILL BE DISPLAYING THEIR CARS AND/OR VISITING:

We have been advised by the ARDC that there will be additional Police presence around Eastern Creek on Sunday. The recent publicity about street racers in that area has resulted in considerable pressure from above and they were out in force last week for the Drag Race meeting. Some 27 drivers leaving that event were booked for various offences ranging from breaking traction up to drink driving.

Now our folks are generally far more sensible and restrained however they should be aware of the facts.

It would be wise for all to be especially mindful of their driving given the recent police clampdown in the area. ;42
