CORVETTE SUMMER movie car location?

I am hoping to find contact information for the current owner of the car from the 1978 movie Corvette Summer, which is located somewhere in Australia. This car was last featured on the cover of the 1987 Street & Strip magazine, Issue #7.

I am not interested in trying to acquire the car, just document it's current condition with description and photos.

I'm not sure of the amount of the Corvette Summer vettes where made, at least buy the movie company...;54
But Mike Yager from Mid America Motor Works has one in his collection...you can see it on his web site...;46
For the mates not familler with Mid America, it's a Corvette Parts company... located in Effingham Ill.  Here is there web site...

There would have to be at least a few cars made.  I recall seeing one car at the Sydney Motor Show as a kid (may still have the guide somewhere) and saw the car above in Chicago less than one month ago.

All that being said, MADLT1 is right, L71 on this forum apparently knows the owner. ;42
