I have to ask - is the box built to a specific volume for the speakers or did you just build it that size for aesthetics/fit?

Spot On cam...I did my best not to touch the original set up of the car...so it is not fixed in! ;35

I recall the guy was saying these kind of speakers (Boston) require good insulation and not sure whether it had to do with the size of the box.

All I can say that they sound so good...Boston speakers and Boston Amp and Kenwood system

Now I understand what you were talking about on the phone about the power cable.  Sorry I thought it was a fixed unit.
