Well, given that Corvettes are in a similar market to Hot Rods (in my opinion) I'm not surprised the car has been sitting unsold for so long.  I'd say its more a reflection of the market than the car.

Not many people out there are looking to buy a full-on showcar with a big hp motor sticking out of the hood, no matter how well executed it is - even fewer are prepared to spend the money. ;42

If I had the $$$ lying around I'd buy it in a heartbeat. :v

I'd settle for the wheels.  Those are the dragways I want for mine, but 3 grand for rims is a little too much for my liking.
