An update on the road..We have decided to take the Pacific instead of new england and bit of advise, avoid it guys, too many enforceable 60Km/h zones and roads are not good for your vettes...So stick to the other way!!!

NB: 5 Radars were noticed up to Coffs harbour

I've travelled the Pacific Hwy for the last 5yrs and I haven't had a problem with traffic.  There is always one or two sections that is under construction (and on the NE & Newell) but it is getting better all the time.

Pretty soon it will be 4 lane all the way from Sydney to Taree!

If you get stuck behind a cattle truck past Glenn Innes you are in for a long drive!!

L ast year I made it from the Convention at Penrith to Brisbane along the coast road in 11.5 hrs with no real dramas.

Have a great trip whichever road you take.

Got a call from Tracy on her way up north this morning, 04/04/07.  There was a major accident between Taree and Kempsy.  Rolled car.  Could have been a fatal.

She also said that there was some wet weather on the way up but was clearing the further north she went.

So watch yourselves on the road gang.

Very sad indeed...seen it in the paper (advocate)!

FIX THE KILLER HIGHWAY NOW
FOUR people dead in three fatal accidents on one small stretch of highway. That is the gruesome equation that newly sworn-in Roads Minister Eric Roozendaal must find an answer to before anyone else dies on the Pacific Highway near Arrawarra. Two men were killed in an horrific crash just north of...  from the advocate

Coffs Harbour to Byron....All clear, few mobile radars!

Expect slight delays at Brunswick Heads as they still haven't finished the new bridge.
