Chromie saves Homer again

As a follow up to the thread that VO wrote:

VO was speaking about the work he did on my Vet "Homer"

Chromie has saved my vet from being off the road again for any length of time more then it really needs. ;42
During this week I decided to place my car into the hands on my mechanic to convert the A/C to working gas and check over the car while it was in the shop.
My mechanic contacted me this afternoon saying that my water pump had died and they were waiting on a pump that they hoped would fit.;37
When this pump arrived it was the wrong one, ;37 so my mechanic called me and asked if I could organise one for him.

I needed to have my car back on the road for Saturday morning, early, so I could drive to work.

Chromie was the only one that had one in stock and after speaking to him organised to collect said Pump after I had finished work. :{

The pump will be going to my mechanic first thing in the morning and I SHOULD be able to pick it up Friday afternoon. That is unless they find something else wrong. Touch wood.

So a huge THANK YOU to Chromie for saving me yet again.

That is two times in one week. ;42

As for the pictures of "Homer" after being lowered I have not seen the my Vet in daylight yet. Once I do I will be posting pictures of "Homers" new stance.
;54

I know it drives and corners like a dream. So I must say a Huge Thank You as well to VO for doing this work. I learnt a lot on the day. ;40;42

You are sooooooooooooo;32 RJ
It was really nothin really it was;43, Cause I know when you do a job, to find out after you pull something appart that you haven't got the part to put it back together;38 and no-one knows where to get that part in time can really make you pop a cork.;50;50;50
I have been there and done that so many times;47 so I keep a stack of parts in stock to reduce that as much as possible;28
