May Sunday 20 - Berry run for lunch CO39

ameneded 7/5/07 @ 1.50pm. Depart 9.30am

Once again Bob and Jenny have put together another great day out for us all with a run to Berry for lunch,  Via the Kangaroo Valley. We are all Meeting at Leos service station at the Crossroads Liverpool for a 9.30am departure.  So be there before 9.30am.

As you turn to go down onto the expressway, you go through the traffic lights at Glenfield Rd and Leos service station is just down in the distance on the left hand side before you get to the expressway merge ramp.

Bob has suggested that we can return home via Jamberoo
and onto Robertson pie shop for arvo tea.

Don't miss in what is going to be a great day out with the club.  You would swear that the scenic drive down to Berry was made just for our Corvettes.

The beautiful rural town of Berry is famous for its gardens, trees, arts and crafts, antiques and markets.
Berry is one of the wonderful contrasts of the NSW south coast. This charming country town is the first in the Shoalhaven that you reach when driving south from Sydney along the Princes Highway.
As you approach Berry you encounter lush, rolling dairylands. With a population of less than 2,000 and with lovely treed avenues, Berry has maintained the atmosphere of an unspoilt rural township.
The shade and fresh scents of its famous trees provide a beautiful venue for a day visit or a longer stay.
Berry is only fifteen minutes north of Nowra and is also centrally located to Kangaroo Valley, Shoalhaven Heads, Coolangatta and Seven Mile Beach.

Shopping in Berry is one of the main reasons this town is so popular with tourists.
You'll find an interesting collection of craft shops, potteries, galleries, boutiques and antique and collectibles shops.
From a good cappucino to a three course meal, there is plenty of choice for maintaining your energy.

So don't miss this one gang.  If you have any questions please contact Bob or Jenny on 0425 310 178[/color]

We will be leaving Leos at 9.30am and we will be stopping off at Mittagong at the tourist depot for a pit stop.  So if any from south are coming you could meet up with us there if you want.

See ya's tomorrow at Leos service station.

Run went well.  I was travelling solo so don't have many pics but I saw the boys taking snaps and am sure they will be up later.

We all met up at Leos.  About a dozen or so.  Traveled down to Mittagong for a toilet break and a quick natter

We then made our way down to Berry via the valley.  Did a run through the main street and then parked the beasts out in one of the back streets.

We all scattered into different directions to have lunch and then made our way around the shops.  The lolley shop was very popular.

Everyone had a really good time.  Some stayed on to enjoy some ice creams while the rest of us made our way back to Kiama for arvo coffee and then home.

Everyone asked me to pass on their best wishes to Bob and Jenny and hope for a speedy recovery for Bob.

Don't worry Bob, Smokem myself and a few of the lads kept the hoon factor alive and well in the back straights/bends. :22

Looking forward to our next monthly run, Sunday 24 June- Brass monkey run to the Blue Mountains then on to Mt Victoria for lunch.

Get ya pics up lads when ya have a chance.

Nutter, I'll see you guys Wednesdayy night for dinner and I'll show ya how it's done.
