It is not ilegal top swap them around as many cars come out that way from factory with indicator on inside. Makes no difference as long as you have one on each side of the car.

I guess the law may vary state to state but a friend just had his car engineered in Victoria, after converting to RHD. He fitted the indicators to the inside.  His engineer measured the height of his indicators from the ground, the distance between them and the distance from the indicators to the outer extremities of the car. He said the last measurement JUST scraped in to relevant ADR requirements.

Thank you to everyone that has helped me make my mind up on what tips I should fit my big red car.

Went for a drive this morning and found these tips on sale. They will do until the complete system is upgraded with extractors and full system.







They look 100% better then what was on it:
