March 18 Joint Run XU1\'s Plus..........
Cameron 77C3:
Well the day's weather was not kind to us. It was a cloudy morning but thought we would risk it and see what happens.
A few of us meet up at the greyhound club then made our way up to Thornleigh to catch up with the main group.
We all had a bit of a natter and chatter before we headed off to Gosford way.
This one seemed a little out of place ;39
By the time we got half way up the expressway it started to get a little wet up front........
And a little hazy out the back
But everyone was in good spirits and we kept motoring on
This guy was being his usual cheeky “smokem” self..... and so was she. Mind you I wasn't exactly an angel with the occasional slip of the right foot.
But dad was quickly coming up to keep an eye on us all
And before you knew it dad was there.
We all arrived safe and sound. Some of us went down to the club for a big hearty brekkie while others had cake and coffee.
After a while it was time to move on.
Some were going to Wisemans Ferry for lunch, yours truly here had to mossy on back home due to other commitments.
It was great to catch up with the XU1 gang again and a pleasure to meet our Comaro cousins and SLR kin folk. Would love to do it again when the weather is finer for a lunch run.
Thanks once again Michael for putting this one together.
