Hope to have some engine removal pics from LPE soon, Cam..;42
Just spoke to LPE minutes ago (Wed. a.m.) the engine is out of the car, working on LS7 block, Z06 rear fenders are being painted in their paint shop as we speak. Will have pics of car & engine removal, plus dyno numbers taken before the engine removal, by end of this week.  They seem to be getting in  high gear now...:evil

G'day Jo,
Your right, I'm in the suburbs, about 35 miles Northwest of the city.  Speakin' of ice, the temperature went down to 4 degrees F. last night, with a wind chill of minus 7 degrees F. ;30..Can't wait till Spring!...:evil

Update 07-02-2007

Hi Gang,
Well, I finally received the baseline dyno graph from the run that LPE did on my car before starting any work on it. They sent it as an "attachment" to an email, and the image is protected from being sent elswhere, so I will have to just give you the numbers from the graph.

LPE Baseline Dyno Jan 23rd 2007 Dyno run #2.  These are the "stock" numbers before any work has been done.

Stock "engine" 400 HP, Stock "engine" 400 TQ.

Dyno..337.7 RWHP, 349.7 RWTQ (All numbers corrected)....;42

That sounds like a great suggestion Cam, I just this minute sent you an email with the Dyno graph attached, it's in PDF form, I hope you can work your magic and get it posted on the forum without too much trouble.
As I said in the email, regarding what I should end up with after they finish with my car, after they install the 427 package, and then the additional mods I wanted, headers, etc, I should have about 520/530 to the wheels...big fat 345 wheels. they say I should have the car by the end of February. Can't wait...:spook

Just bought a HP 17" laptop.  2 gig ram, 2x120gig hard disks,  512mb video ram, 8x DVD, TV, and loads and loads of other goodies.  Getting photoshop in a month or two as they are about to release a new version.

Then I'm getting my new PC with server style twin CPUs twin big screens and lots and lots of goodies.  Next I take over the world. MMMWAAAHAHAHA

Thinking of going with this hood, made by Lingenfelter. Very high quality, perfect fit, functional front opening, draws hot air out of engine compartment through rear opening.  Any comments??..:evil

Next for us, in the near future, for track events...;eek
Your helmet will have a very small Heads-up Display, shown on the lower edge of the front opening, where the area ahead of you, and any alerts for you, can be shown on the Hud. As shown, the next turn ahead has oil right at the apex of the turn, but you now know about it in advance, with the live image, and the text message.
