Boschie,i had far too much underhood heat to use those filters....am building aluminium ducting from under the radiator spoiler routed under the rad then splitting into each side to a sealed airbox through a k&n filter then onto the trumpets...a bit like the older ferrari and lamborghini intake systems all to try to get clean and COOL air to the inlets..john:x:v:v:v

i have had no problems with heat and i appear to be getting plenty of air flow to them.
i think you will love the results once you have yours up and running properly as it has made a huge difference to my car.

Boschie, going from a holley 750vac sec to individual fuel injection that can be infinetly mapped will be a VERY VERY major change....the c3 is much hotter underhood than your c4 appears to be.....particularly around town....i can feel the heat radiating out and around the windscreen...if this doesn't give me enough power then i'm putting a paxton supercharger on it....if that isn't enough.....i'm giving up...john;37;37;37

You run those filters so you don't suck small children and animals into the motor - right?

(ps. you only need one [img] tag at either end of the pic Boschie )

Boschvette, if you find it does get hot under there when you do more city driving, an '84 hood may be a good fix as it will direct air straight to your filters.

I don't think Boschie slows down often enough for that to be an issue.

Serious.

They don't look new to me, I think I have seen them before.

Are you happy with how the car is going now?
