VET-005:
It is not ilegal top swap them around as many cars come out that way from factory with indicator on inside. Makes no difference as long as you have one on each side of the car.

Just my opinion;
I reckon the duel outlets suit the round tail light rear, and the rectangular outlets suit the square tail light rear.
On a side note speaking of the looks of the rear RJ, have you considered swapping the tail lights around so that the brake/tail lights are to the outside. It just gives the vette a lower fatter look at dusk/night.PITA job to do though.

is it legal to do this? i was told the yellow indicators have to be fitted on the outside of the brake lights.

I guess the law may vary state to state but a friend just had his car engineered in Victoria, after converting to RHD. He fitted the indicators to the inside.  His engineer measured the height of his indicators from the ground, the distance between them and the distance from the indicators to the outer extremities of the car. He said the last measurement JUST scraped in to relevant ADR requirements.

nifty:
i know buddy craig with his 75 HAS to have indicators on outside.

Vette Obsessed:
I hope the respective owners don't mind me posting these... ;42
