When you get stuck in an unexpected traffic jam in my 69 BB (when it was standard) in the mojave desert in California with stock fan.................your dreamin!

MR 69ER:
Those were stressful times when I first bought my car & continued to get stuck in traffic with the standard cooling fan set up. Changed to electric thermo's and she can idle in traffic all day.
Bet you can't guess which way I voted!!!!!

interesting.....when mate took his 80 to adelaide with regards to my thread.....one of the blokes doing the conversion has custom fitted twin thermos off a holden camira...ive never seen the car but its a 70  with a worked 454......he can idle in traffic all day and doesnt go above 170degrees....gus tells me the  twin thermos work a treat.
