MADLT1:
The convertible material roof of the car tends to show age more quickly than the car itself. Both fabric and vinyl hoods are prone to fading, they can attract moss and the plastic windows of the cabriolet tend to scratch and cloud up.
The aging of the plastic rear window (weather from scratching, acid stains or just plain transparency wear) is unaesthetic as well and dangerous. The clouded up window looks a lot more worn out than the rest of the car and your vision is obscured.
Replacing the window can be a costly business, so how can this be prevented? Keep the rear window polished and clean on a regular basis. If you are the owner of a cloudy rear plastic window and are reading this now, you may protest that this preventive maintenance is not helpful.
Here we can warmly recommend Renovo® plastic polish, this polish has been tested and in most cases (except the most extreme ones) it can restore the window to an acceptable condition. This polish will remove scratches and restore transparency. It also helps condition the vinyl. By the way, there are materials for repainting and restoring a worn out hood.
Make sure to cover your restores and painted roof also with a weather - proof special paint to protect your hood and your passengers against the elements.
