Corvettes at Darling Harbour - a thank you
« on: November 06, 2006, 10:51:31 AM »
Now that our latest show is behind us, I think now is a good time to pass out some of the many thank you's due to some of the many people who contributed.

First off, our club owes Jolinari of Cafe Molinari for their  financial support of our show.  A sincere thanks Joe. ;42

Our club also owes Shannons Insurance another big thank you for their support of our event.  Shannons has a history of supporting our club at these shows and came through again this year.

Thanks also to Auto One Dulwich Hill who contributed towards the items in the entrants bags provided on the day.

The Committee and myself are also thankful to all of the members who supported the day, the weather was not the best yet many of you braved the less than ideal conditions.  Your attendance is what made the day what it was.

To those six people who took time to judge cars, thank you.  Your good work was appreciated.

On a more personal note I'd like to thank the committee for their efforts.  Everybody has been keen to get involved and contribute in their own way, which to me is part of what clubmanship is about.

Thanks to everyone.  If anybody involved with the day has any comments or constructive feedback please feel free to contact either myself, Cameron, or one of the committee. ;42

I'll second all that.  Many thanks to all.

As Andy said, "any comments or constructive feedback please feel free to contact us".  We cherish all the feedback we can get.

I think the judges preformance on the bridge in the wind and the rain would not have been a pleasant task, whilst the rest of us could get a coffee and sit under cover.
Thanks again fellers.

With the wet weather  ;47....... not many cameras came out to play.

If anyone else has some pics, put them up or e-mail them to Andrew or myself and we will post them.  If you do not know how to, burn them to a disk and pass them onto us and we will fix it up.

By the look on his face when he pulled in I'd guess someone had an awesome time before he even got to the show. ;43
