Brutus:
I presume everyone has seen this schematic of our beloved vac system, but for those who haven't I thought I'd post it here.

johnny86convert:
brutus......great  diagram, now  just  superinpose  for  a  right  hand  drive  car  and  follow  the  colour  coding,  when  we  did  our  BODY  off  resto  on  my  big  block  we  had  great  fun,  switching  the  electrical  and  vacuumn  diagrams,  we  still  bloody  got  lost   lolololololol

Brutus:
You could just hold a mirror up to the diagram.:b2 Sorry, I'm just being silly.....again.

johnny86convert:
hey  brutus  my  mate  took  all  the  colour  coded  wiring  diagrams  to  work  /  transposed  them  turned  them  over  bought  them  back  and  we  still  had a  problem  with  the  wiper  door  and a  whole  load  of  vacuumn  probs,by  the  way  you've  done a  real  magic  job  on  your  vette,  like  the  pictures  the  other  night

Brutus:
Thanks for the kind words JH. I've got so many things going on at once that it's hard to get any one thing finished these days.
I could say I need a holiday, but every time I take one I end up back in Florida at my mate Scott81's place buying more Vette parts and annoying the girls at Hooters.:22
As for the vac system on my 77, I replaced the rubber hoses that go to the headlights with stainless steel lines. I ran them along the chassis rail as well as the entire wiring loom which I disconnected and modified to fit. That left the whole left inner guard completely free of wires and hoses. Bending those SS lines was just so much fun too!;ay
