TRJ:
;eek   G'day Cam,  I see you haven't lost any of your hypnotic powers of persuasion.  Good one!..:v

Cameron 77C3:
Guys I wish I could take the credit for this but I can not.  Whilst I do talk to them fairly often and have mentioned that we are looking for another supplier this was done on their own accord.

But thanks for the kind words any way.

Thats great!..... I just hope there service improves because they have lost many many customers not only here but in the US! thus the increased discount to woo us back I assume!!!!!

I have spoken to them about this 69dr.  It is definitely a case of their international sales section has grown larger than the staff.  Until they do something about this I fear that there will still be some issues.  But as I have always said if you ring them, forget e-mails and faxes,  you should do ok.

As far as freight goes, I don't know about you guys but I just look at the bottom line.

Purely as an example, say a part here cost $750 but to buy it in the states is $250 plus $250 freight, it's still cheaper.

For heavy goods I always get them to use BaxGlobal who they have an account with and smaller lighter goods I always go FEDEX.  I have never used surface (snail) mail so I cannot comment about that.

To give you an indication, I once shipped 36 kilos of parts,  this included 4 callipers, 4 sets of pads and brake lines.  That costed me in freight around $250 to $300.  With their discount back then the total was still damm cheap.

Remember they out source the freight just like most companies and the cost of freight is not under their control.

Let me know if I can assist in anyway with dealings with ecklers.  I have a pretty good repour with them.[/align]
