I drooled over that car when i was a kid. Although i havn't seen the movie in a long time i vaguely remember it was converted to RHD as part of the custom work done. Maybe someone who's seen the movie recently could verify. It certainly was a wild car in its time.

The car is part of the Mid America collection owned by Mike Yager.
It is RHD and I understand one of the RHD stunt cars from the movie made it out here. The Bonnet had to be toned down to get it registered. From a discussion I had with one of the mid america employees a few years ago, the original drives like Sh*te compared to our conversions.

Waz In Oz:
I believe there were two cars made for the film and one was bought by an Aussie who had to have it rebuilt as the RHD conversion was basically done with a bicycle chain.  A few years ago someone from the US wrote to the club looking for it.

I remember seeing a similar vet in the back of a car yard in North Parramatta about 15 years ago. It was for sale, I cannot remember what they wanted for it.
