Thanks for the hoot, Andy...;42

Thanks, Cam, the computer has an option feature in which you can set everything to show in English, or Metric units. Also will display everything in French, Japanese, Italian, German, Arabic, and English...;42

Thanks Jo,  the red circle on the door panel is a warning light that comes on whenever you open the door...;42

G'day 69VETTE,
Thanks much for the congrats...nice to hear from you again!

I hope you realize that I certainly was not trying to make anyone feel envious with my pics, Cam asked me to post "Plenty of Pics" when the car came in, so that's what I did.  I'm long past trying to beat my own drum.  Hope you're feeling bright-eyed and bushy-tailed....best regards...;42

Hey TRJ,

Don't get me wrong.. We know you wern't showing off or beating your own drum, and believe me when i say that we are all happy for you down here Thats a fact. :):{:)

When i said envious, its meant all in good faith, cause alot of us down under would love to own such a beautifull car, but only if it wern't so damn expensive with all those taxes, transfer fees and then conversion costs.

I'll just have to keep playing lotto alot more and keep my fingers crossed. ;27

Hey Nifty,
That Twin Turbo link of yours made my mouth water...:spook
however, there are rather large differences in a TT setup that will give you 750 HP at 9.5 lbs of boost (For approx. $44K additional) vs a SC setup that will give you 560 HP at 5.5 lbs of boost (For $10K, including the new hood.)  First, the number of parts to install, the necessary "building" of the motor, the return to Stock would be very unlikely if it ever became necessary, and then there is the cost...;30  you could buy another "companion" C6 with the money.

Compare the installation of this::grr

...with the installation of the Maggie...:spook

The driveability and longevity, as I see it, are there with the SC....no turbo lag, immediate grunt off the line, and about $35K left in your bank account...:22   Thanks for the great link, nifty.

Hi Gang,

Just read an interesting article on the finance page of Comcast News...GM has just extended their "powertrain" warranty on all 2007 model cars to 5 years/100,000 miles.

This includes 900 motor, transmission, and driveline components!  Obviously, I was very happy to get that news...:22

 i hear ya........ive only ever been for a short blast in a blown car ...and it was a vette.a 75 as per avatar pic...it went good..but for shear speed and throw you back in the seat oooooohhhhmyyyyyygaaawwwddd power, nothing has come close to my nieces b/f's very modified wrx... this thing is still the quickest thing i ever been in...period...and ive been in a 70 LS5 vette, the blown 75 a BB74, an 85 vette, and borrowed my brothers mates 2003 monaro ( ponty GTO for americans) for a few hrs last weekend....munro went real well. LS1 6speed etc but the wrx ate it...now im not a tall guy 5'8"...85kg,but i have a solid build and that rex was uncomfortable as hell for me.
