I don't think there was a turbo in this car. I do find it strange tho that there was just that one isolated hole in the one inlet runner and not the others. Makes you wonder if that could have been the seat of the problem.

what, you mean like a 4 fin, 8 spoke steel plate with an 8 and 3/4 thread earth shunt bolt to the motherboard ... ?

Judging by that photo, it would need an intercooler and bonnet scoop to cool it down.

If u see bonnet scoops on the c6 u kno its only for the electronics.

I don't know about the hole on the inlet runner (I can see it).  I would guess something along the lines of a fuel line letting go.  You can see the hard lines running on the right hand side of the engine (left side of the car).  At  the end of the hard line there is a short section of soft line.  Maybe that let go and leaked onto the right hand side exhaust header.

Then again I could be totally wrong. :b2
