The White Knight:
No problems Mr P as I will not be on the committee I think it is best to leave it up to the new committee to decide if & when they want a show & shine & where it will be held. I still think it is important to hold these events as they attract new members to our club & as one of the major sponsors that I aquired has always said our cars have improved in quality since we have held these events.
:D Garry.

Mr President
I would like to thank you for all the hard work you have put into this club in the years you have served as President. It is not always possible to please everyone, but you have put in a great effort over the years and the club has benefited from this.

We canna gree all da time! I'd like to think TWK is happy with what he has achieved and done and prolly needs a rest from a very tough position. Great dedication and fighting spirit! Save the wave;--

Hi gang. Looks like we are going to have a new President and committee, but we still have people in office at the moment. I'm sure that a new venue will be soughted. This just means that our show will have to be a little later to give the new committee time to pick up the pieces so to speak.
So the thinking continues.
So just to re-cap once again. So far we now have to date:-
First I suggested that "lets drop the quarter thing and anything to do with a particular location, apart from Sydney, from the names list. "
This left us with; plus the latest ones:-

Some people have made the following suggestions and comments:- [And Gang, I have in some cases just taken extracts from their posts]
"Can anyone come up with a abbreviated word which would be appropriate to our unique machines"
"We need a catchy name to attract people"
"You know you just cant beat"heartbeat of america" of course what about"pulse of australia" or along those lines as an oz motto.
"The whole message can be set around a corvette logo in between the first and second parenthasese"
"vetts in sydney australia............(visa).....then we could get the visa credit people on board as a major sponsor?"
"Darling Harbour ...............i think alote more of our partners would turn up as they would have plenty to do in the city."
"If the park at Darling Harbour is available it would be great exposure for the club and the cars and there is plenty to do and places to go"
"If the venue could be kept any where around Sydney Harbour or Darling Harbour in the future, I dont think it would get any better than this"
"How about a day at the horse races, Randwick or Rosehill"
So keep them rolling in guys and girls. All is not lost.
Back to you Gang.
