It's standard "bulletin board" code.  There's a lot you can do with it.  Click here to learn more.

Well when your a posting a link you first click on this button  A window will then open asking "What name should be shown."  In this example Thunder used HERE.  You then click OK.  Another window opens and you then type in the URL  [link address]  then click ok again.

When the message comes up on the screen instead of just showing the URL it shows, in this example, HERE.  

I usually when provind a link will use the words CLICK ME or CLICK HERE

It works!
Now try adding color.
eg. [ color=red ] blah blah blah [ /color ]                  (again, no spaces)
