Latest up date GONE ALL THE WAY
« on: February 02, 2006, 09:20:57 PM »
The first pic is what it looked like and now it's all in bits. A couple of people said why not take the body of the chassis, I resisted with the thought of the extra work, I just wanted to start putting it back together. A couple of beers later and it's to late.

Next weekend My friend is going to sand blast all the steel parts for me , as he was the main person to twist my arm and gave me the beers. Sunday I'm planning to paint and start puting some bits back to gether, ( that will be a change from only pulling it apart) The other person responcable was John ( L71 ) came out one day and put the idea back in my head, Thanks Guys.

I think it was a good idea to take the body of,looks like the frame needed a good clean up although it just looks like surface rust.

You will not look back after its done nothing worse than leaving that 1 little thing and always staring at it afterwards wishing you fixed it eg:-  rusted chassis.

I had to get a 2nd chassis sent over with mine when I imported it and you should have seen the original fold up like cardboard when I was getting rid of it (after the body was off it of course)

Yep know the feeling.  Mine started when the old engine started using water.  That was 18 months ago.

Good luck and keep us posted.
