86 + Vats Ignition Keys

Hope this helps somebody.. its not really a commercial etc....

From around 86 in Corvetees & '89 in GM F bodies & GMC Truck series etc etc... GM introduced various vehicles with the Vehicle Anti-Theft system (VATS).

It's main visual difference is the chip in the key as seen in the illustration.

These are now available from www.usgmsp.com / Ponti-world for  # A$22 inc gst.

     While we have supplied these for over 14 years, and DO have the correct ohm reading key reader from GM for 100% accurate readings.. most all our keys were out of GM stocks and expensive.  
     Recently we brought out a USA Locksmiths stock of them.. hence the 200 or so we have now should help everybody somewhere down the track.  
   If your local to Oak Flats Wollongong (NSW) and want a key for a spare etc.. drop in with your original key... .. otherwise see the www.usgmsp.com web site, in the 84+ Corvette section for ways of measuring the ohm rating etc.
