Under side all painted up and finished

I am STILL waiting for the rack and pinion steering with the modifications to come back from the shop.

So I decided now was a good time to finish the under side of the beast.
If you recall the rear end under and around the tank was done some time ago.

All the drive shafts, cross member, cables and exhaust system had to be paper wrapped prior to spraying with the stone guard.

After stone guard was applied all the paper wrapping was removed. The end result is a jet black under body.

I have got to take that gearbox sump off and get it ceramic coated.  It's driving me nuts.

Rack and pinion steering on a c3, what a great idea. What steering rack did you end up using Cam? This should steer better than when it was LHD.

69 DIRTY RAT:
Ecklers sell a Rack & Pinion for C3 LHD's if anyone wants to know?

TIPPA:
Stone guard... by far the most practical solution. Last car i did was an SS Torana with a similar product. Looks neat, easy to spray on and great stone chip, anti-rust and sound deadening properties. Looking forward to seeing it when she's on the road!
