who run Corvette connection in the mid 90's
86er:
It was the Corvette Connection, they were located on Hume Highway, Lansvale. They closed around 1998 or 1999. The owner was Bob Lubic who was killed ealier this year he owned Mosman Automobiles at the time.
smokem:
Corvette Connection was run by Greg Morris and Tony Tulzen your car was probably converted by an employee called Tex .The address I think was 76 Hume hwy. dont know unit #
MJ427:
tex passed away last
Slingray:
Do you mind if I ask what the quality of the conversion is like? Im looking at buying a C4 and quite a few of them were converted by Corvette Connection around the sametime as yours so just interested in the quality of the conversions coming out of there at the time.
Many thanks.

I live in SA and I have a 1985 vette that had a mirror conversion done in
1995 by a company called "Corvette Connection".
I cant find any contact details for the company but I believe they were in
NSW.
The engineers report I have states that a Buick Skylark rack was used in
the conversion and I am looking to find some details about which year the
rack is from and was the sterering linkages changed etc.
Do you or anyone in your club know someone who was involved with corvette
connection or have a good knowlegd of their conversions.

The conversion is ok,
good job with the dash, pedals and booster. Aircond only sucks recycled air which is typical of mirror conversions because the air cond box is turned upside down when moved to the left side.
The steering shaft is tight as it goes past the engine ( but I think they are all like that.). The mounting of the rack is a good set up with a box section welded to the cross member to mount the Buick Skylark rack ( wish I knew what year the rack was from.) The rack mounting bolts rumb on the sway bar ( need to machine 7 mm from the racking mounting surfaces to give clearance for the bolt heads). On mine the rack set up is a little strange inthat it is 2 turns to lock for left and only 1 1/2 turns to lock to the right.???
hope this helps , let me know if you have any other questions
