It is my understanding, that to get the initial RAWS approval to convert a particular model, a workshop has to firstly get hold of car to use as a sample case... this car is used to document completely the conversion process to meet RAWS approval requirements. Being the first, that may be the reason for the delay. After approval is granted, subsequent cars shouldnt take as long. Can anyone confirm that this is the case?
