They commonly call that a tri-y design.  It is meant to be better for mid range torque where a 4 into 1 is meant to be better for higher rpm horsepower.

Ben, did you notice much of an increase in power/torque after fitting those?

I know - I was just commenting as I really haven't seen them offered for our cars.  Every other type of header I recall having seen is 4 into 1 style.
