Full Resotoration Progress
« on: April 16, 2007, 08:52:19 PM »
Hi Guys

Having just completed Cam's training session I am backon line to try again.

My last post was sometime ago looking for lifting straps.

Could not find any so made my own and the Body was lifted sometime ago.

I have been keeping photos, but not knowing how to put them on the site, I just keep moving forward.

The chassis has now been wire wheeled clean and treated with POR 15, not too much rust, only surface in a few areas.

Some interesting finds, the gearbox has been fully overhauled, and I am about to strip down the engine to see if I can work out what has been done to it.

It is definately a small block, but out of a 86 Vet, fitted with aluminium heads, and high rise manifold and triple carbies, and aluminium flywheel.

Cam is currently testing the Clubs Photo Bucket, and once all is OK I will be able to start posting soe photos.

Thank you to Cam for the time training us and hopefully I will be able to contribute on a more regular basis. ;38

Good one Norm.  The Members Picture Gallery,  MPG for short, (or photobicket as ya called it)  is all running.  VO has just finished doing some testing for me.  We have just 1 or 2 little changes to make then it's all yours.  We hope to be switching it on next week early.

Great to see ya back on.  Glad I could help.

Looking forward to hearing more about ya project and seeing those pics.
