Opportunity Knocks?
Brutus:
Let's try to steer away from the Yuppie Coffee Shop ideas otherwise we'll all end up sitting on some poofie footpath stools sipping double decafe lattes with our jumpers draped over our shoulders and discussing health club memberships instead of cubic inches! ;eek
Cameron 77C3:
;29 Fair enough. We have stalled in traffic again. So what are we/you, Matt, going to do with this area?. Andys idea of videos or pictures is good. Any new ideas?
Cameron 77C3:
Trying to keep this rolling is like pushing a square rock up hill.
Could we turn it into a chat room. You know live chat to discuss problems etc direct on line?
Just thoughts as they pop into my head. Seems a waste of space. [No, not my head this section.]
Brutus:
How many times have you followed an interesting thread to see how someone's engine or suspension buildup is progressing or checked a new post to discover that the owner of a similar model Corvette is relaying how they've researched some new parts to either repair or modify their cars?
Then you read on further to find out they've purchased some really cool parts for their car overseas....predominately from the US....and you wish to hell that you'd known that they were placing an order so you could have gotten in on the action as well!
We've all been there at least once right?
Well here's my proposition for this this section.
Any member who is considering placing an order to the US (or wherever) can post here letting others know of his intended purchase thus giving them the opportunity to get in on the deal as well. This way shipping costs can be at the very least halved and also there's always the opportunity of a discount on multiple orders.
I think something like this could benefit all concerned in our collective Corvette obsession.
Just a thought.
69 DIRTY RAT:
Sounds good Brutus!
