C5 Conversions
« on: February 23, 2005, 06:01:11 PM »
Hi There,

I am going to ship over an 04 c5 vette fairly soon.  I will have to ship it under RAWS.  I am just wanting some expert (unbiased) advice on where I can get my conversion and compliance done?  I have heard of corvette clinic, torque, corvette queensland and Heljoy.

I am unable to inspect any of there workmanship seeing as I am overseas, and the car will be shipped before I get back.

I obviously want a good job done, and have recently heard some unpleasant experiances.

I would greatly appreciate any help that can be given.  Thanks.

Torque Chevrolet does the best conversion in the country, give them a call they are in Hornsby, 02 94771888, how do I know, well I waited over 12 months before I could bring mine in via Torque, whoever imports the car must do the conversion, thats 1 of the raws rules, our car gets them their RAWS, plenty of chats on this subject

C5 vette you seem to have a problem with conventions & conversions my suggestions are you sell your vette don't go to conventions & you will have nothing to complain about in your little life in fact why don't you do us all a favour & buy a VOLVO Iam sure there club will put up with your problems. Because Iam getting tired of you on our forum get the hint.

I am sure if you bought my car and I will sell it to you at a cheap price, you would be here telling us all how bad it is.

You don't have the problem of paying 34k for a conversion that was not up to scratch.

As for the convention there is many who had problems and were unhappy not just me.

Why should I go on your account, I like you and will stick around as most people here are very helpful and understand my situation.
