69 DIRTY RAT:
I buy my books from the good ol US, try www.barnesandnoble.com  they have heaps! punch in "corvette"

Nik:
for my 69 I have a few:

1: assembly manual (must have)
2: Haynes 68-82 repair manual (pretty handy)
3: How to restore and modify your corvette 1968-82 (Newton, Motorbooks International)
4: Wheres wally?
5: A few chevy engine books mainly on hotrodding them (one by lingenfelter himself)
6: get all the vette mags you can that have articles on the earlier c3's. You will find them quite handy at times :) You might find chevy hi performance magazine handy too. I remember seeing these quite often back home (the chevy hi perf. mags that is).
