NSW Corvette Club Port Macquarie weekend  - 14-16 October 2022.

Hi all
The Port weekend is on again for 2022.  The format will be similar to previous years which includes good food, good drinks, great socialising and a little cruise here and there.

Please let Richard know if there is something you would like to do whilst visiting for the weekend (no promises!!!).

Can I please suggest a range of accommodation to suit all needs. It won't matter which accom you book as we can all meet centally for the events.  Please book early.

We are booked for Fri & Sat nights (due to pet issues) leaving late Sunday arvo.
At the Mantra Quayside.

Closer to the restaurants & town (less walking)

Cheaper than Sails whilst a little dearer than Water View, but is newer, has roof pool and hot spar.

Looks OK on website.

Port Macquarie weekend itinerary

Friday 14 October 2022

6.30pm Evening meal at Chop n Chill, Town Green, 17-19 Horton St, Port Macquarie. www.chopnchill.com.au

Saturday 15 October

Breakfast at your choice and leisure.

10.30am. Meet at Waters Edge Hotel carpark, 1 Buller St, Port Macquarie.

Short drive to the MNC Fire Museum. 12 Stevens Street Port Macquarie. Voluntary donation. https://www.facebook.com/MNCMuseum Leave just before midday.

12.30pm. Approx 35min drive for Lunch at Brew Haven 1/3 The Parade, North Haven.  https://www.brewhaven.com.au

Saturday afternoon choices. Stay at Brew Haven for music at 2pm.  A walk along the break wall at North Haven to try and see the Grey Nurse Sharks.  Wicked Elf Brewery in Port ( https://www.wickedelf.com.au ). Return to your accommodation for relaxation or shopping in Port.

6.30pm Evening meal at Cafe 66 (Italian style) 1/66 Clarence St, Port Macquarie. https://www.facebook.com/pg/cafe66ItalianRestaurant/menu I’ll take your order on Friday night for this meal 

10.30am. Meet at Waters Edge Hotel carpark, 1 Buller St, Port Macquarie

Approx 30 minute drive to The Slim Dusty Centre 490 Macleay Valley Way, South Kempsey.  Adult $23.50 to visit museum. https://slimdustycentre.com.au
Leave The Slim Dusty Centre between 12.15 and 12.30.  Approx 1 hour drive to lunch.

1.30pm Lunch at Raleigh Winery 36 Queen St, Raleigh  https://raleighwines.com.au   Amazing cream liqueurs – I’ll bring the Esky!

Sunday afternoon return to Port.  Visit Ricardoes Tomatoes if you would like strawberries or tomatoes.

6.30pm. Evening meal The Beach House. 1 Horton St, Port Macquarie. http://thebeachhouse.net.au

Plenty of time for Blue Cow Gelato.
