Car gps tracker

(1/1)

radvette:
Hi all, any recommendations for a gps car tracker ?
My preference is nothing hard wired.
Any other tips to secure your vette when
away from home for a few days/weeks?
(Garaged in a secure location but want added levels of security.)
Cheers

Fleet owners make heavy use of them:

Yes very good item for lots of reasons.

Those roadside trailors with the flashing LED message boards, are equiped with Sim and associated module's which allowes me to dial in and interogate the sign, see its display, modify or change display, switch on or off etc etc.

Can also be set to run radar detector for speed and also gps. Very helpfull when some moron takes the sign or shoves it over an embankment, they usually steel the very large and heavy deep cycle lead acid batteries, only to find they are either too big or too heavy for vehicle applications, not to mention they are deep cycle, not starter/vehicle batteries.

They also think once they cut the main battery lead, the system is off - not quiet so.
