Respray cost

Looking to respray (in different colour) seen prices from $3500 (the always reliable LOL google) to $22000 (base cost before any body work/repair from local shop, what is realalistic?

Careful who you give the job to. They need to have experience in working with fibreglass. Get references and check out their work.

A re spray cost is as open ended as how long is a string.
  The finished cost depends a lot on the quality of the original body .
 10k would be a basic average job.
20k plus  should get a show quality finish.
30k would not surprise me for a quality job.

Have you looked into having the car wrapped. It looks great and can cost maybe a 1/3 of the price of a respray, just a thought . Ray

The late model rear vision mirror looks  out of period , they appear to be low in relation to the original design.  How effective are they.
