Ummm looks well used. There draw back is the paper, it's similar to bible paper, so thin, its see thru.
I try to keep my tools and other stuff pristine, a throw back to early days with no money to buy things, and a Tech in Training being taught he had to keep issued tools as good as new else I have to pay for replacsments. In fact I still have tools issued in 1969.

Enough waffle. " A set of three (3)" you have seen my two, so what does the third book cover. ??..

P.S - under no circumstances are you to tell me that book is a coloured version.
I know of only one EDM book that is printed in colour ?.........yes you know who you are.......?.

The cover is very deceptive as neither the it or the pages themselves have no grease/dirt marks on them, in fact the cover itself looks to be only worn from pushing it in and taking it out of a bookcase and this is the way it came when I bought my 87 nine years ago
Alas it is not in colour
This manual covers heating and ac, bumpers, steering suspension etc, prop shaft and axle, brakes, engine (and diagnosis) transmission plus the ever interesting Electrical body and Chassis and also has several wiring diagrams inside attached to the back cover

Yep that's the GMSM, all you need now is the EDM.

And           what ever the third book is. ??

Like you I generally collect my manuals for a reference and they do not attend the garage workspace and I generally keep them.If no one has any need for this it will simply make its way back onto the bookshelf where it can rest

I'd keep it out, since I'd imagine the 87 is the same as the 86 and maybe if "peterw" cant get an 86, he may contact you.
