GM still has the Isuzu in Australia, and then there is the HSV Camaro , .
If the RHD C8 was  going to be manufactured. Why would the loose of the Holden name  business structure make any difference.

I'm with you Ray its all getting a bit messy the C8
With the whole of 2020 production fully booked and  many more lhd for 2021
Suddenly we have an order for 20 rhd corvettes on the line lol for Australia
mid 2021 mid production or is it end production.Anyhow I think it maybe all too
Hard as it is to drive on the other side. And I feel Qld will get another batch
to convert as in the past Guess my point is I want to see one here rhd at an event
Off the line look at it drool over it admire it wish for it. Then I can think about getting
one. What happened to Holden operations this week just shows how small the Oz market is
Ram can sell 2200 trucks cant see that for the vette. .Incidently  today 20-02-2020 did you take a lotto?

Why is the a requirement to have any imported car converted to RHD.
We no longer have a car manufacturer in Australia to protect, there is no need for the luxury car tax except for the government ripping the population off as per the normal.
To much government BS  is the problem we have in this country.

Yep Mr Bfit quiet safe to drive a 30 year old vehicle on Australian roads LHD . But a brand new one with many more safety features NO WAY you must chop it up flip it over and stick it back together. WHY

Well well the hsv mob will just about convert the c8 here to RHD... squillions for the conversion
So none will come ready to rock from bowling green usa.
Can we as a club change the rules about driving them as LHD
That would be something a President could handle with a decent document presenting a case for change..
Just about over it, the c3  has less stress and much cheaper

It's pretty obvious what GM think of Australia look how they treated there Dealers !!! History is repeating itself Right hand drive Corvettes has been a rumour since Jesus was a boy. Maybe Kane Winston will  do a conversion . He has been in  the industry a long time and has a excellent record. I wouldn't  put anymore $$  GMs way than necessary , just my thoughts Ray

Camaro conversions cancelled by HSV with the movements in $ exchange rate.  I can only imagine same effect on RHD Corvette

The  RHD Camaro is just to expensive  for a people mover.
A Vf commodore would be a better buy IMO.

With the C7 here worth about $200K how much will the lambo corvette C8 be selling for, you could buy better for the same money.

First one would have to be convinced. C7 is worth 200k.
I’m not convinced, 200k AU for 45kUS  car,  no I don’t think so
