Chasing a rear composite spring for an '88' Convertible
« on: January 02, 2020, 06:37:26 PM »
Can someone help me out with a reasonably priced rear composite spring to suit an 88 Convertible as mine has cracked and started to delaminate.

Thanks, Jim

Hey Bfit, exhaust has plenty of clearance to the spring, approximately 2" from the edge to the muffler bends. Spring I believe is an NYR code with a stamped 019947 on the upper surface RHS adjacent to the bolt hole. My car has the Z52 package and is lowered 44mm in the rear. Jim

I found a spring  not where I expected it to be Part number NYU 030881
Your spring is rated about 33N/mm. This one is rated 57.2 N/mm  when they were new.
