MADDENS PLAINS
Now that brings back some very good memories, of long ago.
in the sixties that was the place to go, late on a Friday, Saturday and even Sunday night.
I can only liken it to brickies in the same era.
( For those who do not know of Maddens Plains history in those days. )

Hey everyone,

If you are interested and want to take part in this run, make sure you advise me by tomorrow night as it is the last day that bookings will be taken.

Our destination needs to have final numbers by early next week, so if you want to be included, now is the time to contact me.

A return message here with your name, contact details and your car description is all I need to have you booked in. Otherwise call me or text me on 0402 016 995.

Space is limited, but at this stage, there is room if you act now.  Don’t forget, I need you to contact me no later than tomorrow night.

Looking forward to sharing a great run with you all.

Jim

What a great day out JIM.

Well organised and scripted, right down to the little clipboards and pens.

Most roads very friendly, but with a couple of wiggley ones as well, just to test the vettes.

Weather was fine, clear and sunny complete with a nice fresh breeze.

Ray really appreciated the breeze esp with all the loverly dust it threw over his car.

All that is required now for your next run is to orgznise some sort of road block that gets rid of the idiot morons who drive at 84km/h in the right lane of the 110km/h highway. Tks Jimbo.

Regards.

Yes it was fantastic. Big thank you to Jim and Gail for a great day, as Doug says you guys organized the run  perfectly. From the beautiful country side and fun roads to a great meal at the Robertson Pub. Also putting your hands in your pockets to provide prizes on the day. And another big thank you to the other members who joined us on a not so nice day weather  wise . Again thank you all VERY much .Ray and Joy

Great day out found out after lunch my electrical gremlin had dissappeared.  On the way home found out my low fuel light actually works was on an economy drive between Mt Ousley & Heathcote kept coming on every up hill. Will definitely have to fit the new fuel guage I have.
Any one need a 78-82 fuel gauge  accidentally ordered 2
