Well I think I may have a 69 BB FOR SALE AT THOSE PRICES.

I didn’t see any vette’s up there worth that sort of money.

Or was it

Buyer beware!

Or

Dont judge a book by it's cover or even it's coat of shinney paint.

Well I suspect you had to be there and have done your home work on them.
1969 was a very tidy and numbers correct right down to the carbs yes it's a tri Carb 435hp of which less were made than the holy L88. In fact for this one, it was not bad buying.
66 nice car but no further comment.
67 tri carb 435 hp convertible was stunning did not have the time to document it properly but all in all a stunner. If all matched up average buying not over the top but not cheap either.
I suspect if you owned a 1971 falcon 500 you would think that, 1971 GTHO is expensive.Rarity and want generate the prices.

Here is an extract from Steve Shreffler,s web page
Quote
Interestingly, when only one in six of the Corvettes built in 1967 were 435 horsepower, nearly half of the 1967 Corvettes that have turned up at sales claimed to be 435 horsepower cars.

I’m the sceptical type ,

And similarly, strangely there are more GTHO and GTR-XU1 vehicles on the road today than Ford or Holden ever built.
It's C3 chromie for me, see? Si!
