Hi, I'm new.
gpierce:
Thanks all. The only dilemma I have for the show is, should I put new tires on my original wheels and drive up with those. Still have the factory Eagles on them so no good to drive on, and realistically I couldn't take them with me to put on for the show.
bfit:
MMM sounds like you need to get a truck and trailer, to take the vet to functions.
hint
Before you leave to go up to QLD find a good local trophy supplier
Now when you go all the way to QLD and may be don't win a trophy.
before you leave to come home ring that shop and order an appropriate trophy .
Don't laugh Its been done.

MY081:
Mmmmmm they do look good with the original rims . I guess it depends on whether you intend to put new rubber on the white rims in the near future , if so maybe a little sooner wont hurt !!Ray
Vettech:
Sorry Greg but the coming show is not NCRS.
With our shows a tyre is just a tyre.
New Old or Bald and rock like, a tub of tyre shine will be all that is needed to make the difference.
And once applied, you too will be able to have black knees, like any true C4 owner who works on his own car.
And since I'm entering a C4, you had best disregard anything I advise you.
Regards.........cant talk anymore I have to get a Beamer operational.......
gpierce:
Thanks All. I knew it wasn't an NCRS event, but it sure is nice to see these guys in totally stock form:)
Its a real dilemma. I originally thought along the lines of that I'd keep the wheels as is and put them on for shows. The logistics of this is impractical though. Once I take the original tires off the wheels then I can never really go back, but then again would I ever anyway? This car was a museum piece and is now a "driver", though still only 2200 miles on it. Will anyone in Australia (outside of an NCRS event) really care that it isn't 100% original?
