Hi Guys and Girls,

just signed up and very first post, just purchased an 82 Vette for my wife and needs a few little things tidying up.

im in need of a battery and would love to know what you are all running in your C3, trying to stay away from the Optima ATM due to costs.

any info is greatly appreciated.

Any yellow derivative colour vette is good.
I would say the red top is the best but yes they are expensive.
 I prefer the gel type battery as is right there behind the driver.

What ever battery you get also get yourself a trickle charger.

Yellow wasnt a standard colour in 82 and im not sure its even a corvette yellow she was originally white.

It still has the original crossfire fuel injection and has had a brand new tan trim installed.

This car is fresh off the boat from California and still wears the plates ATM, im slowly going through the list off issues she has to put her on club rego.
Just bought 4x 255/60/15 M/T for her, replaced all the power steering hoses as one let go on the first drive, all the belts are done and now for the dud battery.

Another quick question for you experts, my wife is quite short and she needs the seat as far forward as possible to drive but the seat belts dont seem to reach around,
is this normal in Vettes ??
