C3 Electronic Alarm Module.

(1/2) > >>

Vettech:
The following is for mug lair persons with purple C3's.

1st - Sorry for a bum steer, the little plastic box plugs directly into main fuse pnl.

Hopefully see below for pic off my build book

Vettech:
Shot of Fuse Pnl Asm

Those single sockets read top to  bot  ? , Bat,  Ign, Accesory.

Whilst the bottom left -"Lps" (lamps).

Vettech:
Shot of Instrument wiring with the module shown, cant see flying lead, but has a plug.

Vettech:
Now I have some virus on this Ipad - its taken 5-6mins to type this line.

Check the 1 and 2 pin plugs are connected. :grr: :grr:

Vettech:
These last 2 are out off  a Chev service manual.
But the cct dia clearly shows the lite is driven by the magic box.
At 30++ years I'm sure some bits have given up the ghost.

Electrolitic Capacitors are the 1st to go, but replaceable. Any luck they have gone O/Cct. (They can explode or ooze - either one can be BAD)

Best unplug unit at 1st opportunity, either have a look yourself, or let me know, as you know I have a very rigid, tight and full itinery, but I'm sure I could fit it in somehow.

Regards.        P.S tap on pic to expand, then U can move, enlarge etc to read.
Uncle Doug.
