Compare dimensions
The chassis drawing in the service manual is not what I would call accurate.
+or - 1/8’’ is not good enough

It was for GM in the 'good old days'.

I did a trade before the c3 hit the roads. ( a life time ago )
In those days a general engineering drawing +or-  1/128" ( this would be a rule measurement )

as in life the more you are prepared to accept,the more advantage will be taken.
