Penetrene spray over night, a good hit on the head is possible or heat the nut and allow to cool, don't try to undo it hot.

And Bob what are you doing using KY?

A hit on the head may just help vettech ,as for KY,  apparently it’s good for loosening tight nut syndrome

Well "release lube" overnite, then the dreaded "Mapgas", fuel lines only 25 ~ 40mm away (its OK the cars insured), a good heat up, later the bolt gives up, and whilst it turns and unscrews from the block, it wont come out of the pump, pump now off, pulley off pump, heater spigot seized, I think it best to get a new spigot for the new pump. Its annoying they dont supply the pump C/w spigot.

O B one, please dont feed leading lines like that to Bfit, he's likely to come back with something about "the enormity" of his situation.

Its sounds like cavernous pit you are digging for your self there.

just in case you don’t have a Webster handy   (  ADJECTIVE _   like a cavern in size, shape, or atmosphere )

I used to say this about working on Mini's or Austins, " if your changing the ashtray, first jack up the car and take off the wheels....." unfortunately after nearly thirty years, and a fair amount of use, things wear out, and L98 engines are jammed into tight Corvette spaces. Its only good sense if you have certain parts pulled off, to extend the job to include other items which are now easier to get to. "At the end of the day, um week, umm month year" it will be like new.

Well water pump off, but in doing so the alloy frame that has the P/S pump mounted to the block, as well as the alternator,  broke.

No one appears to have one, so a call to Phill at vetteconnection in Seaford Vic, could turn one up.
