Damaged on boat trailer

(1/1)

StephenSLR:

Something to be aware of when putting your car into the hands of others, apparently the owner put it on a tilt tray and somewhere along the trip it was put onto a boat trailer. Looking at the track width, this is probably not legal so it pays to check with whoever you're getting to transport your car as to how they go about it and maybe get something in writing that they won't do anything like this.

Ouch! That's crook.

Have seen the result of a Vette shipped to Oz in a container with another car above it dripping various fluids onto it. What a mess. Specify the top bunk in any such arrangement.

Yep, not good if you have oil & grease dripping on a convertible with light coloured soft top, I specified top bunk for that very reason and mine's a hardtop.
