Imported cars /LHD  are seen as a status symbol in Japan wasn't aware hot rods were so big in Japan. My 78 came from Japan

Bugga, I was there Lat week and missed it.
I did see a black c7 in Kyoto, and a c3 parked near Narita airport.
Large cars tend to stick out a bit.
