Fibreglass rear spring
« on: June 14, 2017, 04:18:37 PM »
Has anyone bought a fibreglass rear spring from ecklers.  I am going to replace mine as I think it is the original and the rear is sitting a bit to low, ride is sloppy and I have to avoid every bump in the road.  It is a 72, 350 and relatively standard.  I am thinking that the 315 lb would suffice.  I will replace the rubbers and mounting hardware at the same time.  I think the shocks were replaced during its body off restoration in 2010.  Any comments would be appreciated before I commit.  I nominated ecklers due to discounts offered through the club.
Thanks
Stu

I'd go  330  from vansteel or VBP
If you are tinning wider rims you can get a shortened spring.
