I am wondering if anybody has a 1968-1975 cigarette lighter element housing that they don't want?.

Buy a brand new one from Jaycar not original but not all rusted up inside about $12, from memory only difference is the + connection on the bottom

Original is good - but when it's sight unseen then jaycars or one from a wrecker is ok
